Shortcut Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 After contacting ATC it gives me a response on the screen but it turns off before I can copy the info down the same happens when getting attack info. Is there any way to re-display ATC response or save it to bring back up a little later as I (S) at typing and I also mostly fly in VR. Thanks for any help. 13700K, MSI Z690 D4 Edge wifi, Swiftech H360X3 Cooling with Corsair Water Block, Gigabyte 4090 OC, 64gb Trident Z 3600 CL16, Evga 850W G2 power supply, Moza AB9, Virpil Apha Prime, Winwing Orion 2 Viper, TM Warthog, MFG Crosswinds With Damper, TrackIR 5, HP Reverb 2, Pimax Crystal
Darcwaynard Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 I don't think there is but wouldn't it be nice to have a hotkey to copy ATC/AWACS/JTAC info to a blank keyboard page? I use a real kneeboard and try and scribble it all down as needed without dying. Fisherman82 Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 And a absolute must in VR. A Kneeboard page where the latest 9-line given by a JTAC would be auto generated would be fantasic. It would also be good with a page where info from ATC is generated, I guess that would be good with the new Supercarrier module where I guess there will be pretty much info to remember otherwise. Gosling Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 How about it remaining on screen longer, Say the same number of seconds as spaces in the text + 3... That would work
Fisherman82 Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 2. REPEAT BRIEFI have never gotten Repeat brief to work What is it supposed to do? Repeat the nineline for JTAC or all transmissions? Skickat från min D5503 via Tapatalk
AvgWhiteGuy Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 Is there no place in any LUA file where you can set a 'text on screen timeout' option? Or even an option to 'repeat transmission' HOTKEY for us dyslexics that jumble our numbers Asus B85 Pro Gamer - 32GB - Intel® Core i5-4460 CPU - SanDisk SDSSDXPS480G -Windows 10 Pro 64-bit - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 TrackIR5 - TM Warthog HOTAS Stick & Throttle - TM Cougar MFCDs - TM TPR Rudder Pedals - Razer Orbweaver - SoundBlasterX G5 DAC

Mapi Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 to add some text, there is a small overlay tool: DCS Scratchpad https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=229357 "Resizable and movable DCS World in-game Scratchpad for quick persistent notes - especially useful in VR." - I copy often some of the briefing text in - you can add pages maybe it is usefull for the ATC too
