Good morning,

Having lost all faith in Eagle Dynamic's ability to deliver acceptable performance (VR unplayable for more than 2 months) and finished modules I would like to get a refund for the SuperCarrier. How should I proceed?

I refuse to encourage this flawed business model which is slowly but surely leading to the death of DCS.

My recommendation is to contact Eagle Dynamics directly instead of trying to get advice from people in a forum who can't help you:

DCS user support

OH and maybe it would be a good idea to inform you what Early access means BEFORE buying software in EA.

Modules and maps: all of them

All charges incurred when purchasing download DCS products from the DCS Store cannot be refunded or exchanged in whole or in part, regardless of the payment method.

End-User License Agreement

I am not sure if ED will give you a refund

I have been buying Early Access for the past years to support ED but quality has been lower and lower. Remember the Viper launch? LOL.

It is not an Early Access program anymore, it is a Ponzy scheme. ED is funding on promises. That's enough

It's the Viper launch that led ED not releasing the SC module, because people don't know anymore what early access means.

And i'm really convinced they did the right choice, considering many customer behaviors.

On top of that under my point of view they just showed how much they did learn the lesson and the professional approach they are using after that experience.

People buys EA titles (Alpha or Beta) and pretends to have a release quality product.

If i would be a developer myself i would do the same exact thing and also many companies out there are even not sharing release date or ETA anymore, thanks to some rotten apples in their customer base.

In Italy we have a proverb which tells: Rome hasn't been made in just 1 day.

Whish you the best and stay safe.

Can I remind you that the F18 has been in EA for 2 years and that they almost stop it to focus on the F16?

What do you think will happen with the SC? Have you seen the list of the features that should be present at release vs what was advertised in the YouTube trailer?

And I am not complaining about the delay, I would gladly wait if I was certain the module was released on a playable core.

I would suggest to skip and don't buy early access products anymore and buying them just on release, so you will not face this kind of situation anymore which as i can tell is completely uncompfortable for you.

Thanks for the feedback Charly314159

We understand your frustration, open beta public test builds can sometimes give us challenges. I think you can agree if we had released the super carrier in the current 2.5.6 if would have made things even worse.

Any refund request should be made with support, we can not do anything here on the forum.

Hopefully once the issues are resolved you will feel different.

Kind regards

Apparently you have no idea what is going on behind the scenes, which is understandable, but ED is very busy with the Hornet and has been so in the past 2 years. What some people don't seem to understand:

Less updates does not equal less work!

After EA release of the Hornet they could release a lot of updates, as there were a lot of smaller and less complex things to fix/add, but now they're working on huge and complex items like the A-G radar, which just needs more time to work on, which means less updates.

Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
