Hi. Sorry if it is a known bug or a RL feature. I did not see it mentioned anywhere. My TDC keeps jumping back to the corner when I switch from TWS to RWS, and also each time I fail to lock a bandit with TDC or he breaks the lock (ECM?). BVR fight becomes a torture, I must keep dragging the cursor back from the corner for each lock attempt... I attached a short track (8 vs 8 quick mission in VR). This is in DCS Stable. I do not have any axes mapped to move TDC, just keyboard presses programmed in TARGET.

Any word on this yet?

It's rather cumbersome to always have to move the cursor out of that corner, and it takes precious time especially when you locked the wrong target and want to pick the other next to it. Time that could decide if you die or not. I simply can't imagine this is the real behaviour since it would make much more sense to have the TDC cursor spawn right in the centre of the display, so you could get anywhere as fast as any other direction, and most probably, the valued targets are close to the center on the display mostly since you'd go for them. But well, I don't have any real docs on this, so I can just guess and thereby I somehow doubt this is acting like the real thing. I mean, if I encountered this behaviour in the real thing I'd somehow try to make the manufacturer update the software even. The way it is now, and has been for over 2 years in DCS is totally inefficient.

Yes from the dev

In TWS scan zone can be slew on TDC and in TWS TDC stow position set in center

so not a bug, it is correct as is.

thank you
