From the release of the viper, I have had an issue where the fuselage and tail lights are swapped. When I turn the fuselage lights on or off the tail lights actually turn on and off. The same thing happens when I turn on tail lights, the fuselage lights will actually turn on. I have added the a zip of the trk file. 4- This happens on all maps and both single and multiplayer.

It's correct as-is according to the T.O. flight manual.

 

The WING/TAIL switch controls the wing tip and intake position/formation lights, as well as the white position light at the back of the tail.

The FUSELAGE switch controls the formation flood lights that illuminate the tail.

I worked on Blk 50/52 for 4 yrs and that is not the way I remember them. The way I always understood it is that the:

 

WING TAIL is a 3-Way switch

BRT - Wing and tail (red/green) position lights on maximum intensity

OFF - Wing and tail position light intensity controlled by FORM knob

DIM - Wing and tail position lights dimmed

 

FUSELAGE 3-Way switch

BRT - Fuselage lights on maximum intensity

OFF - Fuselage light intensity controlled by FORM knob

DIM - Fuselage light dimmed

WING/TAIL: Turns on the red and green wingtip and inlet lights and white light at trailing edge of vertical tail bright

 

Fuselage: Turns on the white floodlights at the base of the vertical tail bright

 

FORM: Varies the white formation lights on top and bottom of fuselage
