Fw 190 A-8 stutters and cause FPS drop (Normandy)

Situation: Large crowded airfield with lots of static and AI

FPS with A-8 = 45 ~

FPS with Dora, Spitfire, Mustang, K4 = ~60-70

Could it be that A-8 is more demanding being more recent module, even if that's the case 20 FPS is a lot.

This is my spec:

CPU: i7 9700k

GPU: 1060 6 GB

RAM: 16 DDR4

SSD: 256 GB

Monitor: AOC 144hz FreeSync ON

Settings: HIGH minus: AA = OFF (Using FXAA) and 2x Antistropic

I don't have problems with other maps and games, having mostly stable 60 FPS

SSLR is generally a resource hog. Some modules are affected more, some less, but I wouldn't recommend keeping it on, especially if visual difference between on and off is negligible in your chosen aircraft.

i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

Running very acceptably in my rig ( i5 2500 @ 3,3 GHz + 16 GB DDR3 RAM + GTX 960 4GB GDDR5 ) with SSLR and the other option that can be used with a multiplyer factor in the Nvidia GPU also OFF.

I alternate between 2x and 4x AA.

Runs between 60+ and 40, sometimes down to the 30s in complex scenarios, but still very acceptable.

Is there any chance its the free flight mission of the Anton?

I ask because I had the same issue with the Anton with the free flight instant mission but my guess is that its the mission itself what cause the fps drops because of its memory requirements and I have also only 16GB just like you.

Than I have created a custom mission myself for normandy free flight and with that my FPS was normal.

FW 190 A-8, FW 190 D-9 Dora, MiG-15bis , Mig-21bis, AJS-37 Viggen , M-2000C, F-15C, F/A-18C, F-14, Supercarrier, NTTR, Normandy+WW2 assets, Combined Arms, Persian Gulf

AMD Ryzen 2600x , ASUS Rog Strix B450-F, Corsair H100i, Corsair Vengeance 32GB 3000MHz DDR4, MSI RTX 2070 8G, ASUS Xonar DSX, Samsung EVO 970 SSD , PSU - Corsair RM750, Headtracking - EDtracker Pro Wired, 58" Screen, TM Warthog, Windows 10 64bit Home

My other 16GB memory came and installed so I just wanted to report back.

Fw-190A8 "Instant action - freeflight". Same stutter same fps drops.

It can be still the mission I guess but still this noticable fps drop is strange compared to the performance playing anything with any other module.

S!

Fw190A-8 causes stutter and drop of FPS when looking forward. When looking 90deg or more to the sides everything is normal. This with latest Open Beta 2.5.6.47404.
