Phil C6 Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 Hi, all is in the title almost of us haven't antenna spring for center antenna so for gameplay it should be great to have an option for manage this axis as in the F16. Best regards
Terrificfool Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 As long as it remains an option and doesn't become the only way to set it. I vastly prefer the existing Hornet implementation to having an absolute axis.

Best regards +1  It's needed because we don't have hardware with return to center axis. Optional off course. Mirage fanatic ! Razor18 Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 I understand your pain, but as long (and if!) ED will do something about it, you can still assign the non axis version of the same command ("Antenna Elevation") to a 4-way switch up and down direction. Works perfectly on my Warthog throttle index finger 4-way switch up-down. And left right is chaff and flare for me. Just a suggestion.
CypherS Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 I'm part of the group that would like for it to be kept as an option. I spent a fortune on a centering thumbwheel to attach to my leo bodnar board, wouldn't want all that to go to waste suddenly

I would be interested to have a look at your HOTAS solution though  Mirage fanatic ! kengou Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Would love to know what throttle people have where they’re running out of hat switches. I have a relatively cheap TWCS throttle and after binding the real hornet throttle functions including antenna elevation I still have unmapped hat buttons. Virpil WarBRD | Thrustmaster Hornet Grip | Foxx Mount | Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle | Logitech G Throttle Quadrant | VKB T-Rudder IV | TrackIR 5 AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB | 32GB DDR4 3200 | SSD

I would be interested to have a look at your HOTAS solution though  I got something like this https://www.otto-controls.com/htwm-hall-effect-mini-proportional-output-thumbwheel Stuck it in between the gap of the warthog throttles, drilled a hole into the throttle handles insides to pass the wires, then drilled another in the bottom of the base get the wires out to the bodnar board. Had to give the wires a lot of extra slack. Would I do it again? Probably not, to much effort and cost for a functionality thats constantly broken
