More PAF Liveries?

Are there any more PAF liveries for the JF-17 other than the default 'Spider' one? The User Files only have the Thunder demo team and a bunch of fictional liveries, and there's still no JF-17 forum subsection under mods/liveries here.

Not default ones no.

 

They are still finalising the 3D model, which is delaying the release of the paint kit.. which is delaying full scale skinning efforts.

When the JF-17 is completed, there is going to be 10 skins for the plane, instead of the 4 we have actually

I 'm pretty satisfied with the variety of liveries on the Users Files .. tough I agree that the 4 default liveries included with the Module is not enough:

Maybe you are filtering by “JF-17" unit, but a lot were classified as "other" as at the beginning there was no JF-17 category. For example:

Makes sense... Now I just have to figure out how to get photoshop without having to pay $20 every month. Are there good alternatives that work well with DCS liveries?

Well the way I see it free goes a long way farther than $20 for 99% features I will never touch.

It’s $20 per month .. $240 per year ... Adobe is probably the greediest software maker of all time.

I hope somebody gets tempted to do a detailed gimp livery tutorial where they cover only the features relevant to dcs liveries.

Oh it works very well with alpha channels and since the 2.10.18 release it also handle CMYK(A) PSD files. I can finaly edit psd files and at the moment I am working on a german Luftwaffe skin for the Su-25's. I coudn't do that with previos version of gimp since the Su-25's template was made with an old photoshop version.

The fact that I didn't understand half of what you're talking about means that I'm probably about to take on more than I can chew. Ugly depth-less, hot-pink and full of holes liveries incoming!
