Shadow KT Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 In the norther part of the Caucasus map (Southern Russia), near Min. Vody you can find a lot of weird topography on the map, which follows very steep and unnatural banks and ditches. Here are a couple of pictures of these anomalies. They can be found all over the area. There are ones which are up to 70-80 degrees of bank. 'Shadow' Everybody gotta be offended and take it personally now-a-days
Bagpipe Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 This features on parts of the channel too and seems to be related to the roads being set to a different elevation from the underlying terrain i guess. Doesn't seem like something high up the list to fix though unfortunately... :/
draconus Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 If you look at the terrain map: https://www.google.pl/maps/@44.1037703,42.1953822,13z/data=!5m1!1e4 it can easily be the source of confusion for any automapper engine. btw: anybody has any idea what is hiding in these regular tree lines? - see attachment Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria

I don’t think there is anything in hiding. It’s a windbreak.
