jasonstory44 Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 It’s been a bit since I’ve flown the hornet. Today I noticed I couldn’t get the G limiter over ride to kick in when I used the paddle on my Warthog stick. I double checked the mapping and it seemed ok. In fact the paddle works to disconnect NWS. Anyone have any thoughts? I’m used to Betty nagging at me when I’m hotdogging around in the hornet. kengou Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 I’ve never seen a patch note that mentioned the G limiter and have no reason to think it would have been changed. But I seldom use it myself so I can’t say for sure. I know you have to hold it down, not just tap it, are you doing that? jasonstory44 Posted June 8, 2020 Author Posted June 8, 2020 Yea been squeezing it like a trigger. Can’t seem to get it to engage. I mean I suppose not terribly important but I was getting back into the hornet and learning it. Just wanted to get it setup properly Win 10 Pro, Intel i9 9900k overclocked to 5.1 (water cooled), 64 gb Corsair Dominator platinum RAM (3444 MHz) Titan RTX overclocked and water cooled 1.1 TB SSD 2 TB M.2 SSD TM Warthog Stick and throttle MFG Crosswinds Reverb VR Buttkicker LFE, SimShaker, Jetseat. Stubbies2003 Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 Also run the WH and haven't flown the 18 since the OB patch but it worked fine up to that point at least.
jasonstory44 Posted June 8, 2020 Author Posted June 8, 2020 Figured it out. My VKB gunfighter pro base is dying and full deflection of the axis wasn’t possible. Great...a several hundred dollar fix to follow. Grr You likely just need the black box or the circuit board which are both cheap. No need for a brand new base unless you have an older model.
