I've always been under the impression that the turbo RPM lamp should start blinking at about 18,000 rpm on the tubo gauge as a warning that you are approaching the max allowable rate. And become steady at 18,250 or thereabout. Presently, the light never blinks. I've only seen it illuminate as a steady light which surprised me.

If this has been reported, please ignore. I did a quick search but didn't see anything referring to this.

Nop. We have late version of turbo wich was redlined at 22k.

20k continous and 22k 10min limit.

You can spin turbo faster, so to avoid over reving you have to back Boost lever.

According to that it should be blinking before it becomes steady. Which is why I’m suspecting a bug.

In version w/o tachometer turbo light was blinking to indicate operational rpm range for turbo.

In later versions with turbo rpm gauge and light, was no blinking, only steady light when turbo overspeed was detected.
