Namenlos Ein Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 This is Caproni Campini N.1 (CC.2), 1940. http://www.aviastar.org/air/italy/caproni_campini.php But in truth the Caproni-Campini N.1 was no more than an ingenious freak which employed a conventional piston engine to drive a variable-pitch ducted-fan compressor with rudimentary afterburning.

zakobi Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 It seems the thread have gone somewhat into koma, and i know it's not my turn, but here's hopefully some lifegiving to this thread: Can you name which aircraft i have on my mind? Here's some help It share some of the name of a newly developed jet fighter, which have similaritys to the F-22. It own contry call it some thing different. The specific aircraft have only been in service with one country.
zakobi Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Nope Btw, here is one more hint: You need the P-38 namebrothers full name. The first part of that name is used...
significant Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 XP-58 Chain lightning? Is it a Lockheed aircraft?
