ebabil
AFAIK, borders are not recognized by the editor as something. If someone passes a trigger zone, air defences or enemy fighters may engage to him. It would be good this applies to country borders. Let's say, a plane passes Turkish border to Syria, air defence systems or patrolling interceptors will engage, if this plane stays in Turkish borders, no SAM's or fighters will engage even though he is within the range circle of SAM. sirrah
+1 This would make life a lot easier for mediocre mission editors like me. Instead of having to create multiple trigger zones with enormous radius (because we also don't have the ability to create rectangular trigger zones) System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH

Fri13
Just a custom shaped trigger zone would be enough, a maybe possibility for an additional smooth curves, but I think it would be enough just to create a area like with waypoints and then close it to be the trigger zone. Then as well trigger zone have altitude value too could help in that so we can make it custom in that too. i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K. chromium
Or at least allow us to make a trigger zone whatever shape we want. this. Author of DSMC, mod to enable scenario persistency and save updated miz file Stable version & site: https://dsmcfordcs.wordpress.com/ Openbeta: https://github.com/Chromium18/DSMC The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.
