Red flag

I bought the red flag campaign over 3 months ago.

 

Thus far I’ve Ben able to play only two missions (one was just a familiarization flight) before the Patch were AI started crashing into each other. It’s been well over 3 months.

 

How much longer before I can actually use a product I bought from ED?

Hi HoYa, can you please tell us which aircraft you are talking about? Because there must be like 3 or 4 different Red Flag campaigns (Viggen, Mirage, etc.).

 

 

Then we might be able to find the bug and send you a fix for the bugged mission.

Good. Where and when do the AI aircraft collide? Taxiing? In flight? Which waypoint? Which flight is it? Can you please attach a track showing what's happening?

The F15s in Taxi, I wait for al the aircraft to take off and my wingman crashes into me. If I go fast and not wait for clearance, the wingman crash into each other

Ok. I see one quick temporary solution, but it might make the mission harder: you can edit the mission and remove your wingman.

 

Or you can make your wingman spawn far away from every other aircraft. This way, he won't have time to catch up on you before you are airborne.

 

Do you know how to use the mission editor? I'm away from my computer for the next two weeks, I can't do it myself, sorry.

If I taxi fast enough u can get airborne, but it’s a 4 ship flight. The 3 wingmen will still crash into each other. Doing a mission with one plane where there should be 4, is kinda silly !

 

The issue should just be fixed instead of messed with in ME.

I agree but I don't work for ED, so I'm just looking for a simple solution for you. If you can provide a track or a video (or both) of this crash, this would entice ED to fix the issue.

Playing SP missions is not viable at this point coz of the AI at a mess. AI will most certainly make your mission difficult as it is at current.

 

 

Until AI is corrected a bit...developing SP campaigns is pretty pointless.

I know it doesn't help you now, but the issue is corrected in the Open Beta currently, I imagine that the next push to stable will include the fix.
