You have to check if your OvGME path is the same that Admiral is using.
Admiral is using following path:

\HMS Albion_Support Craft\Save Games\DCS.openbeta\mods\tech

If it doesn't fit to yours, you have to adjust.

I already did that and also checked if they're present in the folder and they are but still not showing in game editor.

Right now I'm talking about this mod : CMA CGM JACQUES SAADE  - CPL SHIPPING LINE  - CSCL STAR -- Pack One

Should it appear under USA? I've also checked other nations and they dont have them...

EDIT : ACTUALLY...they work! BUT.... there's a BUT...lol... They only appear under "ALL" not in any "type" category which would be even better to "easy" find them, if I can give a "hint"!

All good for the rest! 🙂

Hi, sorry for my "noob" question but how do I download these ships?

Good Morning Everyone,

I'm working on the Submarines now. The Vanguard needs more work because the missile launchers are not there so I have to add them. I will add Tomahawks. Although, she only carries Torpedoes and Tridents. So she will be fictional.

The USS Sturgeon I think is ready for release. After three years I've finally figured out how to animate the submarine to submerge automatically and periscopes rise up. I will test her today to see if she rises automatically after the enemy ship has been destroyed.  Take a look at the bottom photo. It shows how effective the Torpedoes are in DCS. Or shall I say ineffective.

Hey Penquin625, the Exocet missile is just as effective but I think the Naval Strike Missile rides low to the water. So it's hard to track and hit. The NSM is 400 kgs/800 lbs so any weapon with that weight will do significant damage to any ship.

AI Ship damage is based on their GT.Life configuration and some other configuration. Not sure what the others are but GT.Life is a main one i think. The higher the better. If the ships GT.Life is set low the ship will sink right away.  I tested it against the Chinese 093 this morning. It took two hits from the NSM to sink it. The 093 GT.Life is 1500.  The carriers GT.Life is set at 7300 so it will take much more to bring them down.

I will get the USS Sturgeon out to you all this weekend. She's a basic submarine that only launches torpedoes. Something to note. The Other submarines will not launch any missiles submerged. Just in case you're wondering.

Hello BlackFalco, did you get it all sorted out? For the mods to appear in OVGME you have to double nest the mod folder.  See the photo below. The Ships mods folder should be inside another folder of the same name as shown below.  I upload mods based on people without OVGME. PM me is you still have issues.

Thanks guys for helping out.

quick question but is there a reason why AI harriers and F35 are not landing on LHA properly. they land like they are on a carrier with wires instead of hovering just to the side of the ship then slowly lower to the deck.??

The landing type is determined by aircraft weight. Reduce the internal fuel or weapons load in ME. I forget what the exact weight is so you'll have to experiment. Try reducing fuel load to 50% and see if it switches to vertical landing. if not lower it 10% until you find the weight.

interesting thanks i had assumed that they always land vertically no matter the weight or payload

Storm class Fast Attack Craft Missile FACM Royal Norwegian Navy

Hey admiral if you wanted to add another fun fast attack craft for the future I'd recommend the Storm Class Fast Patrol Boats. Used by the Royal Norwegian Navy, Estonian Navy, Latvian Naval Forces and the Lithuanian Naval Forces. Built 1965-1967 and 20 where completed. It was armed with 6x Penguin antiship missiles, 1xBofors 76mm TAK76 cannon. Storm-class patrol boat - Wikipedia

***** DCS Update news. Per Nineline. The CH-47 release has been delayed due to some unresolved issues. ******

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey Penquin625, that would be nice but unfortunately, there's no 3d model out there of the STorm Class but I have lots of small patrol boats to add.

My favorite is the Cyclone Class Patrol boat. I have to rework the weapons on it because the 50 Cals are too big.

https://www.navalanalyses.com/2014/08/cyclone-class-patrol-coastal-boats.html

Right now I'm finishing up the Italian Warships. As mentioned I will release them after tomorrow's update. I want to make sure the code doesn't get broken again. I really appreciate CH correcting the code issues. Something I've learned. Coding can be a pain in the butt. I have somewhat of an idea of what Programmers go through.  I have an IT background but not in coding.

Good Morning Everyone. Happy 4th of July to everyone here in the US.

Hey Ienatom, yes, I will release her sometime this month. I'm finishing up the Italian Escorts now. I created a version of the ITS Alpino yesterday. The main gun on the Alpino is different than the ITS Luugi Rizzo Class. The Cavour will require a lot of testing with regard to plane parking and launching. What you see below is not final.

I'm also finishing up the Submarine pack. With so much going on, I'm not sure I will be able to add a new Chinese and Russian sub to the pack. If not it will be in another release. The new SSGN weapons pack a punch.

As mentioned I will save the release until after DCS Updates. I want to make sure the code doesn't get broken again. Thank you all for your patience.

DCS Updates have been delayed again. They are working on it now because I can't access it online.

Hey Andyo, no RN Amphib for the moment. The Bay Class will come eventually along with the Canberra and the TCG Anadolu.

Testing has started on the USS America. It will take time to bring her back up to speed. I'm testing her weapons which will be revamped along with weapon sounds. I will leave the Aircraft testing to Beldin. Snapshots are below.

Today is Mother's Day here in the US Although every day is Mother's and Father's Day. So no modeling today.

Good Evening everyone.

I have released the Iranian Frigate IRIS Alvand with liveries of the IRIS Alborz (72) & IRIS Sabalan (73).  The flight deck area is too small to land a helicopter unless you land sideways but it will be a tight fit. I think it was placed on the ships for cargo drops.

The Alvand classor Saam classwas originally a class of four frigates built for the Imperial Iranian Navy. They were renamed after the Iranian Revolution and served in the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy during the Iran-Iraq War. Three still remain in service. A fourth was sunk by the U.S. Navy in 1988 during Operation Praying Mantis on 18 April 1988.

Located by two American A-6E Intruders of Attack Squadron VA-95 steaming roughly 16 kilometers (10 mi) southwest of Larak Island, she was hit by two Harpoon missiles and four AGM-123 Skipper II laser-guided missiles. A pair of Rockeye cluster bombs from the aircraft and a single Harpoon from the destroyerUSS Joseph Straussfinished the destruction of the ship.

Thank you all for your patience. Please notify me if you have any major technical issues. Enjoy!

Hey Tromp, The SA-N-11 missiles have been corrected already on Project 965. They don't dance anymore. If ED updates any parts of their weapon files. It will affect all the missile files we declared. So we either have to find the weapons file they updated or in this case fix it ourselves. CH was able to determine which line items were changed.  BTW Tromp did you know there's a Dutch ship named Tromp.

Thanks, Silver Dragon. Very useful information. The most we can do with submarines is update the Harpoon and Tomahawk specs. At the moment we can't configure the Torpedoes at all. I tried declaring a different Torpedo using existing code but it doesn't work. Also, at the moment no matter how I configure the submarines they always launch the default YU-6 torpedoes. So the Submarine configurations is always a Work In Progress. Thanks again for the information. BTW what is your source of information? Thanks.

Good Morning Everyone.

I created a spur-of-the-moment 3d model of the Ticonderoga Class Cruiser. I will share it with you all in the next couple of days. Also, I will release the Italian mods soon as well. I will not wait for an ED's update.  It's like Murphy's Law. What can go wrong, will go wrong.  Stay Tuned.
