My Dad was a plank owner of the USS Yorktown, CV-10.

My father served on a Fletcher for WWII.  DD500 USS Ringgold.

 

We need more WWII ships.

As much as I’d wish for each of the main WW2 RN destroyer classes - “greyhounds of the seas”…

 

… a USN Fletcher class is an absolute must have for any Pacific assets

There are some excellent mods for WW2 ships.

German, British, US, Japanese....

And very nicely modelled. But some don't register impacts, the bombs and bullets go right through them. I think a few have LUA scripts that have to be installed that can make them register impacts, but I just use the ones that already do.
