hello

flying at night in overcast sky with afterburner on results in massive video corruption phenomenon. as you approach certain altitude level within the clouds, weird orange spots start spawning around your plane and shooting forward. sometimes they appear to be imitations of the afterburner effect (a pair of orange spots). sometimes they dont.

video:

check these timemarks:

0:25 - maximum intensity of the corruption from F2 view

4:30 - maximum intensity of the corruption from cockpit view

5:10 - demonstration of orange spots flying forward in slowmotion from outside

these timemarks are included in youtube video description section.

track:

none yet, but i will add later

steps to reproduce in this particular instance:

date and time: 1st september 2020, 4:30:00

cloud base: maximum of 16404 feet

thickness: maximum of 6562

density: 10

precptns: rain

map: nevada (happens with any)

plane: hornet (happens with any)

altitude of flying: 21600-21800 feet

afterburner: on

100% reproducibility

i would also like to point out that i have completely deleted and reinstalled the game recently, the bug was present before and after. so its not the good old update and shader folder deletion thingy.

Hello Dorian, I'm able to repoduce this. This is quite weird indeed, but hopefully the effect doesn't last long if you don't keep fly level at this altitude.

On holiday 🍹
