is there any chance to define an axis-mapping template, which works for every aircraft by default? Lets say brake(s),throttle(s),flaps and so on. Thanks

Have to say that it would be good if there was a “common” set of controls for the bits that all aircraft have. Right now, there’s variance in how some of the more obvious are even named.

7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat

A very good suggestion.

A bit hard to implement, since there are a myriad different hotas, with different amount of axes ... not to mention the diversity of DCS aircrafts.

For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra

For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar

Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

I understand the suggestion is to map your own controls which are then common across all aircraft wherever possible.

I dont like the way x and y axis is mapped to EVERY controller. Pick 1 controller and apply the settings to all aircraft.

Honestly, it's such a mess not mapping anything at all would be an improvement.

But no, i forgot to unplug my gamepad and every main control interface is going nuts.

They attempted this before. If you look at the GENERAL options, it's there.
