IAF.Cheetah Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Since 2 updates ago I noticed that if you try to go through the steerpoints with the STEER switch button assignment, it jumps 2 steerpoints every time you press it. If you manually click it with the mouse inside the cockpit everything is OK.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted October 1, 2020 ED Team Posted October 1, 2020 Thanks we do have this one reported already Forum rules - DCS Crashing? imacken Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 CDU Steer switch jumps 2 steer points It was the same in the original A-10C, but when I use the CDU steer switch, the steer points go up or down in increments of 2. This doesn't happen with either the DMS or the UFC rocker which increments in single steps. I've always wondered, is this correct behaviour? If not, I would have reported in the bugs section. For now, I’d recommend either reassigning your keybind to link with the UFC steerpoint rocker, when it’s fixed reassign to the CDU steerpoint switch. imacken Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 I didn't dispute that there was an issue already reported. As I said, I was asking if this was normal behaviour as it appears in the Mk I A-10C as well, so I assumed it was present for a long time. Maybe new code has been pushed to the Mk I, I don't know. That's why I was asking! If it is a bug, then, as always, I'll be very happy to see a fix in the future. I have not flown the A10CI since the II was released, but I can tell you that behavior was not present prior to II release. imacken Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 Thanks for clearing that up. I hadn’t flown the original A-10C for some time. We’ll just have to wait on a fix then. Copy, as long as the CDU switch "bug" isn't lost - I'm a happy camper sir. Thank you for the quick response.
