ZQuickSilverZ Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 I have a VKB Gunfighter Mk.III ‘Modern Combat Edition’ stick and an X-55 RHINO throttle. I need mounts that will accommodate both. Any suggestions? I need, I need, I need... What about my wants? QuickSilver original. "Off with his job" Mr Burns on the Simpsons. It has BLINKY LIGHTS!!" author unknown. These titles are listed in the chronological order I purchased them. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
VpR81 Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Monstertech has some good stuff. Pretty expensive though, but you'll get what you'll pay for and you can choose your stick/throttle for each mount separately. They also have a long version of their mounts for center sticks. dburne Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 (edited) Another vote for Monster Tech. I have my Gunfighter Mk III Pro L mounted on their extended desk mount, and my Warthog throttle mounted on their standard desk mount. Canadus Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 +1 for Monstertech also  Great Engineering. Fantastic built quality. Sturdy and thought through packaging. Price may seem a bit hard, first. But I will definitely go for MT again, when I update my throttle. Gunfighter did fit 100%. The neat adapter for the blackbox is nice. Wasn`t aware that it would be included. :D Have to find a solution for my cable-management though... :music_whistling: Ryzen 5800XD - 32GB RAM - Sapphire RX 7900 XTX - VKB Stuff + MFG Crosswind Pedals Homebase: Southwest Germany
Motomouse Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 The monstertech unit is very easily mounted to the desk and removed. (Throttle and Rudder stay in place all the time.) I changed my setup from a fixed dcs rig to a fixed setup for car racing and a flexible setup at my regular desk for DCS. With the monstertech mount it is faster to change my regular desk into flight ready status than to start up the old fixed DCS setup. I can use my regular monitor, keyboard and mouse at the positions I am used to. Much more comfortable in VR than adjusting to different positions. VpR81 Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 Have to find a solution for my cable-management though... :music_whistling: I purchased these plastic inlay profiles wich are clipped into the notch, so i can use them as cable tunnel. They're sold in 2000mm bars, just cut them with a knife to the length you need. Not sure if that's a solution for you, but maybe this helps with getting an idea of how you wanna do it. Foul Ole Ron Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 I have a VKB Gunfighter Mk.III ‘Modern Combat Edition’ stick and an X-55 RHINO throttle. I need mounts that will accommodate both. Any suggestions? I got VKB's own UCM Stronghold mount. I got 2 of them - one long one for the Gunfighter + 200mm extension and one short one for the throttle. I currently have the X-55 throttle and it just sits on top as there's no way to secure it right now without jury rigging something but it's steady enough for me. I plan to replace it with the VKB TECS throttle once that's available so I can live with the way it is for a few more months.
