uri Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 You can reproduce this by enabling steer point autopilot and cycling AG master mode. Seems that when the mav enters VIS mode it breaks. Leaving AG does not fix autopilot. Setting the mav to PRE (or BORE) fixes autopilot.mav-autopilot-issue.trk
Machalot Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 I think VIS overrides the current steer point. This is probably related to all the other TGP,MAV,HUD,STPT bugs and will hopefully get fixed at the same time. "Subsonic is below Mach 1, supersonic is up to Mach 5. Above Mach 5 is hypersonic. And reentry from space, well, that's like Mach a lot."
XCNuse Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 (edited) Can confirm it's also breaking my TGP. Once I load any mavericks onboard and hit A-G, enabling steerpoint autopilot only wants to go straight ahead until I return to Nav mode.... and hit CZ again. Also, more importantly; with Mavericks onboard and nothing being touched, once you reset to CZ on TGP, you can no longer slew the TGP.... at all. It WILL NOT MOVE. Entirely frustrating. Jettisoning the mavericks does not seem to fix the issue either.Viper broken TGP and Mavs.trk Edited October 20, 2020 by XCNuse
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted October 21, 2020 ED Team Posted October 21, 2020 Reported I am not sure why VIS mode is doing this and if it is intended or not. The team will know and I will pass on and feedback thank you Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
