i'm sorry that i cannot test for myself right now, but i remember that some month ago there was a problem with the function not working on older mission files, where the only solution (that i found) was to delete all offending units and recreate them.

unfortunately i cannot remember what the exact problem was (but it had to do with mfd visibility in f-16c) and i remember that i compeltely reworked (delete, recreate units) an old mission (made for a-10c originally) for it to work properly.

perhaps this is helpful in narrowing in on the bug... otherwise ignore...

Hi,

Just to came back for this issue for a mission I am doing.

If the option HIDDEN ON MAP only is selected, the threat ring does not appears (at least on the F/A-18C). Track attached.

If the option HIDDEN ON MFD only is selected, the threat ring does not appears, but the unit is visible on the map via the F10 button.

In l my opinion, only the HIDDEN ON MFD should have a effect on the threat displayed or not, but maybe I am wrong.

PS : VISIBLE BEF ACTIVATION  seems not working as well. Nothing appears on the MFD or the map.

Opposite question, which unit are not visible on the fa18 mfd ? I have same template sam that doesn’t show in the mfd by default
