Torsten Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Has anybody got this problem: I purchased Nevada but have not been able to download during the last two days. Server gives me around 300kb/s and stops after a while, going to 0. My connection is tested as 50Mb/s. I never had this problem before. Is DCS just flooded with people buying during the sale and downloading? Petty, as I want to buy more....
Rudel_chw Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Strange, I downloaded today’s latest dcs update and the speed seemed normal to me. Torsten Posted November 24, 2020 Author Posted November 24, 2020 Strange indeed. I bought half a dozen modules last sale and they uploaded quickly. Same for FS2020. But now this problem. Anything I might be doing wrong (plenty of room on sdd and connection tests 50Mbps).
Flappie Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Hi, can you attach your "\DCS World\autoupdate_log.txt" file, please? ---
Torsten Posted November 24, 2020 Author Posted November 24, 2020 Sorted. It finally finished downloading. I had to start and stop lots of times. Mostly around 350kb/s, then for a while up to 5Mb/s. Must be the traffic on your server due to sale. Anyway, it finally finished after two days. Thank you.
Flappie Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Not my server, I'm not working for ED. ;) Glad you sorted it out. ---
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted November 25, 2020 ED Team Posted November 25, 2020 Other users have also mentioned randomly slow connection in Australia, maybe local issue, the CDN server reports ok.
