Hi guys,

I had this issue on a Supercarrier (I was on a MP server) with a F-14A:

I was positioning on the catapult and the deck crew gave the correct signal initially, than, I lowered the strut, connected to the shuttle and than he asked for the strut extended.

I suppose it's an Hornet thing (I don't have it but I recall something similar). I haven't had time to do it again.

Thanks :)

It's happening for me, too.

It raises the question of what else doesn't work correctly on the Supercarrier. The speed callouts from the LSO seem to be broken for both Tomcats, so I would assume that the LSO grading is not accurate. I'm not convinced the ball is where it should be, but ICLS seems to me to be pretty close.

Supercarrier Officially DOES NOT support the F-14. According to ED. They built it as a Hornet Addon only and are now hands in pockets about sorting it out. Money well spent.

The B works just fine with the SC

Its not, afaik LSO slow calls are BS for F-14s, hook to eye distance, ball alignment is incorrect, icls probably too. Unless its already fixed. It was all built around F-18, and its incorrect for F-14.

Well you get the correct cat crew signals (no launch bar up) and tomcat ball

I only ever get "slow" at the start, never after that (unless I'm actually slow). Not sure about ICLS as I dont use it in the groove but its certainly good enough to get you a good start during case III. Not sure about hook-to-eye problems as having the ball centered in the wires usually gets me a 3 wire. Anyway, the are certainly some quirks but thats EA. Saying the SC is incompatible with the Tomcat is plain wrong (and HB worked hard for that) . There are obviously issues with the A that OP mentioned though.
