Please prevent the wingman from flying around during daylight with formation lights ON. It is purely visual and does not affect playability, however it "ruins" screenshots. I flew in the Air Force for 25 years and formation lights were only used on formation night flights, not during the day and not single ship. Are there Air Forces out there that operate differently? I would like to know if it's the case.

Thank you for your great products

This could easily be solved with advanced waypoint action -> set option -> lights and you could have checkboxes for position, formation, anti-collision etc.

Lots of things should be special enroute modes, like clock value based formation lights, NVG installations, instrument lightings etc. All kind things that get set up automatically for night.

This because in example Nevada map it is not nice to start a flight each time where you are installed with NVG instead HMS and the day is bright as midday at early on the morning around 05:00.  Or you have so dim instruments in Hornet etc that first thing you do is to start setting brightness values up to be able perform quick training missions.

Maybe it would be a good idea if we had a little graphic in the weather options in the mission editor showing hours of daylight/night time.

Something like a small, rough sunrise chart like this or something along those lines.

But yes, these should be made triggerable actions with start/stop conditions (like time for instance).

I'm amazed this isn't a radio command like it is in every other air combat sim. "Flight FENCE IN" = lights off. "Flight FENCE OUT" = lights on. Formation lights coded to come on at dark like city lights/supercarrier lights are already programmed to.

The most frustrating think is that there actually is, if you have VAICOM PRO you can issue Fence In and Fence Out in the Hornet and the wingman will answer that he copys. But it doesnt do anything.
