Warthog Stick fell off desk, landed upside down, cracked gimble, replacement options?

Ok Gents,

Was cleaning off my desk and the thrustmaster joystick fell off the stand and landed upside down.

I noticed immediately after picking it up, the handgrip now has a 25’-30 degree twist action that wasnt normal,

Launching Windows diagnostic, the buttons work after a few unplug/replugs (likely cause I took the hand grip off).

However the axes are dead, they both jump between min/max values w/ no motion whatsoever.
I started a breakdown and noticed some things right away, the plastic is cracked, and the sensor looks way off.

After breakdown,
The internal gimble was cracked in half, and the magnet detached from the upper gimble.

Sorry to hear that!! I made a homemade platform out of PVC pipe with a base made of wood under my warthog and used heavyduty velcro to attach my warthog to it. After seeing your pic I reinforced the velcro! Once again sorry about that. Hopefully you can find a replacement gimble or buy a new stick if you can find one. Best of luck!!

I have spares....Ill have to dig them out of storage, but I have a warthog base thats DIW and I use a virpil base anyways. Will need a new ribbon cable, but thats the gist.

my board and wiring are intact, just the mid-gimble cracked in half, and the sensor broke off the upper gimble.

I can send you what I got. Sensor broke on mine a long time ago and I just superglued it back together and it worked fine. Its basically just sitting in an otherwise empty drawer in my storage unit with no other use for it.

Thrustmaster sell replacement for the "articulation sphere", but the magnet support you will need fix yourself.

I have a base lying around with no base plate, like new, fully working, almost never used (got a Virpil WarBRD base instead, much much better imo), comes with 2 springs, the original one and a green Sajah spring. If interested, just drop a PM.
