New and recent video with the last DCS patch

As you can see it's not perfect:) i'm not an expert.

It could be better with a bit of practice.

Parameters are same as the first video:

speed around 140 mph

PA around 21

Good game

The Jug seems unreasonably bouncy for some reason. Even with a 3-point at very low desent rate (~50fps) it will bounce about 10' back into the air. It wasn't like this a few updates ago so I assume there's still some tweaking going on in the FM.

It got the Corsair gear by mistake?

I find the Anton the same. 20 year-old pilots in the day would never have survived it. ED should just clone the Mustang gear modeling for all warbirds of the same weight range - excluding maybe the Spit and 109. With due care, you can land the Mustang almost anywhere.

50fps you call it very low ? it's 3000fpm damm i'm shocked that plane survived it 🙂

My Jug don't bounce even when i slam it in to the ground.

About 200fpm

I have all warbirds in DCS i can tell that all are different even A-8 and D-9 feels different.

I say one thing just learn to land it. Read manual note at what speed you do touch down in those birds you will not see bounce after that.

Enjoy! 🙂

Nice. So how much rudder (and perhaps aileron) deflection do you need per a bird, i.e. do you deem the amount of torque, as modelled, realistic?

The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

The biggest issue that I I have is that the landing gear seems to be made of glass.

I practice all the time and it's rare when I succeed without bending or breaking the gear.

As for the Mustang, I can drop it on a dime and give you nine cents change. 😀    Very rare to bend or break the gear.
