Leviathan667 Posted March 21, 2021 Posted March 21, 2021 (edited) Hi, I've been trying to make sense of the tables in the RC2 manual, at pages 336-7. Machalot Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 Looks like it could be useful info, but I can't make sense of the table format. Could you explain how to read it? What are columns 3-4 for with the Y/N? Why is the digit of interest shown by row and by column? What do the colors mean? "Subsonic is below Mach 1, supersonic is up to Mach 5. Above Mach 5 is hypersonic. And reentry from space, well, that's like Mach a lot."
Leviathan667 Posted March 22, 2021 Author Posted March 22, 2021 Those are the digits ordered by rank, from 1 to 6, you have to input using the data panel in mode TAKT IN. E.g. TAKT, IN, 831100 then LS/SKU, OUT, back to AKT/POS The three columns small tables with grey heading are a reproduction of the content of the manual. The rest has been added to try to make sense of these. 1 Wishlist: Tornado ADV/IDS, Blackburn Buccaneer, Super Mystère B2, Saab J 35 Draken,
Bananabrai Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 It's been a while since I last unwraped my brain about this stuff. Thanks for the refresher. There is one point that comes to mind, hope some HB staff is reading this: To change the target approach was not working for me the last time I was testing it some 1,5 years ago. I had some red ship sitting behind a quay wall and ironicaly I was able to hit that with a RB-04 but not with a RB-15. The RB-15s final approach is way lower than the RB-04, you can really see that it wants to hit the target on the waterline. So I tried to change the cruise (83) and final target approach (86) to a higher level (831... and 860...). I can't remeber if the 83 (cruise) was working, but target approach defently rammed that RB-15 into the quay wall. Can someone confirm that issue after putting in 860 / 860000? gcze Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 I checked it a few days ago, unfortunately changing target approach it does not work.
Flappie Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 I agree. This 2020 report is still true. 1 On holiday
Leviathan667 Posted March 23, 2021 Author Posted March 23, 2021 My guess is they will fix it with the release version of the module, like the SPA issues Wishlist: Tornado ADV/IDS, Blackburn Buccaneer, Super Mystère B2, Saab J 35 Draken,
