TheTrooper Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 Hi I've just noticed something a bit strange. I played a mission which I created a while ago F18/Supercarrier, and discovered that communications menu works when on the deck, but as soon as I'm in the air it doesn't pop up if "Easy communications are off"? Not sure if anyone else has had that or is it bugged somehow? ----------------------------------------------- Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Processor i7-6700 (3.4GHz) 8MB Cache | 32GB HyperX FURY DDR4 2133MHz | MSI GeForce RTX 2070 ARMOR 8G |SSD 1TB 970 EVO Plus M.2
draconus Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 (edited) Use proper PTT radio button to use the comms menu connected to the radio, not the ground crew (intercom) as it is default comm menu which is not available in the air. Push to Talk? I'm lost. When in the air what do I need to press? draconus Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 Check your module controls. It's probably Rctrl/Ralt+"\" 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
Frederf Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 There is no keyboard in a real F/A-18. Think like a pilot. What would you press if you were sitting in the real airplane? 1
QuiGon Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 (edited) Hint: It's the 4 way comms switch on the throttle. You need to map it. Depending on the direction that you press it, you open the comms menu for different radios.
