Cueball Posted April 15, 2021 Posted April 15, 2021 (edited) I was testing a misision I had made and tested (the issue) on several maps and planes. On the Syria map the AI planes start up from parking and just sit there idling. The helicopters start up and will taxi out and take off fine. But airplanes won't taxi out or anything. If you change them to start from runway they will take off and follow their set mission waypoints just fine. This is only happening on the Syria Map. I hope this gets to the right place to be addressed. Edited April 15, 2021 by Cueball
Smokehouse Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 This issue is not map related, it happens to me randomly on all the maps

moggel Posted May 3, 2021 Posted May 3, 2021 (edited) [UPDATE] Added the .miz file I was just gonna post a question why one of my F/A-18C groups won't taxi to the cats and shoot but I guess this problem is pretty generic. I might add some light to it though: What happened is I was building a mission with five groups; AWACS, Fuel, 2 CAP, one SEAD and one strike. For whatever reason the SEAD guys didn't behave as expected (they stuck ardound very low, outside of the SAM range, and then didn't attack the SAM sites as I was expecting). Suspecting something was maybe corrupt in the .miz file I tried removing the group and recreate it. Having done that, however, the SEAD guys are now just idling in their 'pits on the boat after having spooled up their systems. I can send the .miz file is it helps, once I get to my gaming box. Jambock Posted June 9, 2021 Posted June 9, 2021 I figured out the problem with my mission. If any aircraft is parked on spots 59 or 60 on Liwa AFB, the aircraft parked on spots 36, 37, and 38 will not start taxing.

It seems large aircraft such as the E-3 are not allowed to take off from Liwa anymore. Create a new mission, and try to place an E-3 at Liwa: it will be moved to Al Dhafra automatically. ---
