Orsi
I've made some tests using A-10CII and noticed that some ILS are not working. t1mb0b
Quite a lot of your own time(and ours) wasted there. Just set the landing runway properly and as in real life, the airfield in question should turn on the appropriate navaids. Whats the point in switching on expensive ILS equipment on an unused runway? Report back, though i don't think anyone's really that bothered.
Frederf
I found that Al Dhafra's ILSs for the northern runway are backwards. When wind favors 13L the ILS for 31R comes on and vice versa. I'm guessing this is what's happening on a lot of these. When checking please fly in weather with >4m/s wind favoring one runway and then repeat the test with wind >4m/s favoring the other runway. When ILS is seen to work check both sides to see which is the front course and which is the back course. As far as I know there are no airbases which have two runways in DCS. Orsi
I’ll test it again. With correct wind

Nellis as most obvious. Or did I misunderstand you? @Orsi When doing such tests always make sure that ILS (and for practicular runway direction) is actually implemented in DCS map and call ATC Inbound to check the active runway. Frederf
There is concrete with painted stuff on it but ATC will never assign it, AI will never use it, navaids will never support it. Nellis has one runway in DCS 03R/21L. 03L/21R doesn't exist. draconus you should also be aware that ILS and ATC can sometimes disagree about runway. With certain wind conditions it's possible for ATC and ILS to be on opposite directions.

Frederf
Can you share a miz or the wind? I can't get anything but 03R. Edit: Weird wind 220/4 I get AI taking off 03L and 220/3 they used 03R. Why? Edited April 21, 2021 by Frederf
