Hiob Posted May 3, 2021 Posted May 3, 2021 When I move the flaps in the mustang, I get some very strange cracking noises, that will stay until the flaps are fully retracted again. It sounds like a corrupt soundfile or some problem with the soundmixing to me. 1 1 "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"
charliefox2 Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 I'm also getting this, and it's really distracting when setting partial flaps for landing. I'm using an axis to control my flaps, if that matters.
Art-J Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 You guys use any sound mods? Remember that various aircraft share sound samples between them, so a good mod for one plane might mess up the sounds for the other. On my PC (all stock sounds except a mod for MiG-21, but that one doesn't affect the Mustang) the flaps sound is barely audible. The only way to hear it is to be on the ground, with nothing but battery power on. It sounds a bit like tyres rolling on tarmac, but muffled. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
ED Team NineLine Posted May 7, 2021 ED Team Posted May 7, 2021 Yeah sounds good here, make sure you have no mods, and try running a repair. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
