I have a new bug I started noticing today (first Ive been on DCS in about a month). I noticed ThWay is not staying on top like it use too. Despite having "always on top" selected in the settings, whenever I click on the f10 map to scroll around, the app disappears. I updated to the latest version today, but that did not fix it. I also noticed the app isn't showing up in the taskbar like it did previously. So no Alt+Tab to switch over to it. I have to continuously hit my app launch button on my streamdeck to get the app back on top. Any ideas why this may be happening? Thanks.

I have integrated DCS TheWay into the DCS Web Viewer Livemap. You can save the coordinates created with the measure tool to a .tw file.

Currently its only in the dev version

TheWay support in DCS Web Viewer.

You can now convert flight plans / waypoints from any mission as TheWay .tw file. Open a .miz file, click a waypoint or unit popup and click "Export TheWay" to save.
( Or "Edit TheWay" to open a JSON editor, make your desired changes, then save as *.json and rename to *.tw. )

 

You can also convert drawn polylines via the measure tool, in the main menu.

New to the Hercules 6.8.2 mod. I tried adding the four files found at the v1.01 hotfix shown in the Way app (and linked above).  DCS crashes now when I load into the Herc.  When I remove the four files and restore to previous state, everything is fine.  Am I doing something wrong with installation of the hotfix? The four files just go into the "Cockpit/Scripts" folder, right?

at the moment, the waypoints are importing correctly in the Viper. However, in the hornet, they don't seem to input correctly. is there something I need to do differently?

Did you switch on "PRECISE" mode?

HI, loving the app, I fly the A10CII and when I "Transfer to DCS" it does not transfer the elevation. How can i fix this?

I found the issue, I wasn't waiting for the INS to be aligned, therefore  no elevation data was available.

I skimmed through this pretty quickly. Seems awesome (F-16 here).

But are there two development branches? It looks like the original stopped development July last year on GitHub (https://github.com/aronCiucu/DCSTheWay Then another here, apparently to fix an update with F-16 waypoint entry from DED (https://github.com/jonsky752/DCSTheWay) this past January. Is the latter the latest is there another development branch?

I wouldnt say I took over development exactly.

I have however took some other people's mods for theWay and combined them.

I thought they made good additions, after testing and minor modifications, I thought I would share it here.

There are some fixes in "my branch" that will not be in the official branch, F16 DED entry being one of them.

Well, I tried both development branches. Both work but once I send to the jet (F-16) the game completely freezes up. Tried uninstall/reinstalls a few times and have up. Nice concept though.

Several members on my discord use it without issue. Not sure what's going on with my end. I'll try to figure it out tomorrow. It's too valuable a tool.
