Hi there was some news lately :

My problems is with all my lights ON when i SALUTE the Yellow guy keep spinning is arms and NOTHING happen ! my launch is stucked please help

  • NEW: At night, the catapult launch is triggered by turning the exterior lights on (in accordance with manual procedures). Added a new special option which flashes the lights automatically together with the pilot salute."

You need to leave the lights off during taxi and hookup. Once you’ve run up and are ready to launch, that’s when you turn them on as the signal to go. The act of turning the lights on replaces the salute, done at the same time as you would have saluted in daytime. Caveat: haven’t tried it yet myself but this is how I understand it should work.

Ryzen 7 5800X3D / Asus Crosshair VI Hero X370 / Corsair H110i / Sapphire Nitro+ 6800XT / 32Gb G.Skill TridentZ 3200 / Samsung 980 Pro M.2 / Virpil Warbrd base + VFX and TM grips / Virpil CM3 Throttle / Saitek Pro Combat pedals / Reverb G2

It is the Exterior Lights Master Button that needs to be off, before you taxi to the cat, maybe some light, like form lights are on for you? Double check that. You can also use the special option if you cannot figure it out for now, that will do it automatically for you, if you use the old way to salute with left shift + U. Another workaround is to use salute via the radios.

When you're ready to launch, press the light master switch button on the throttle. No need to salute.

Thanks ! you saved my day !

SWitching from On to Off, then On again, solved the problem !

I can start the campaign, GREAT !

It works for me that way but shouldn't the crew launch you when they simply see the nav lights turning on? They have no idea if the pilot has just turned the master lights on or had it already on but just switched nav lights to bright. Both ways should trigger the launch. [haven't tested yet that other method]
