I think that OLDPOP is talking about how to start screen recording via his graphic card software, i.e. Amd uses CTRL+SHIFT+E to toggle recording on and off.

So I don’t think this is related to DCS.

Does DCS have any answer to this????

"N" don't think that was an answer!

"Flappir" have no idea what you are talking about!

@oldpop You asked the exact same question in 2020 -here: https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/223867-record-onoff/

I sum up the best answers that were given to you back then:

What does the Hornet "Recording" function does? (Start recording, stop recording)

Nothing. It's just a switch moving up and down in the cockpit to mimic the real thing. What it does in real life was not implemented in DCS.

How to show what's happening in someone else's cockpit in multiplayer?

Participants must send you their MP client tracks. MP client tracks are automaticaly saved in here: "C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS...\Tracks\Multiplayer".

beg pardon Frappie. Thought maybe ED had corrected the bug by now.  Why have a key command if all it does is move a switch, that doesn't make sense.  I would hope someone from ED would reply with some kind of reply:(

Flappie, I see you are a closed beta tester, so maybe YOU could ask ED about this matter!

I'll ask them right away and will let you know.

Here's the answer:

In the real plane, when you press the 2 stage trigger, the first stage starts the recording of whatever you have selected with that switch. So whenever you fire, a recording is being done automatically for later investigation. In DCS the first stage does nothing. So it's not implemented and won't make any sense here anyway.

Hello Flappie, first of all I wanted to tell you that I consider you a good community manager and an excellent representative of your company, always friendly and attentive. Thanks!

Now my question: I am having problems with Geforce Experience that I have never experienced before and I don't know if it is something related to DCS or Windows. After multiple reboots, Geforce Experience stops working with DCS, does not record video or audio, and this usually occurs as a result of a DCS crash that forces a reboot to be forced.

Do you think it may be related to having DCS installed on a different drive than the operating system?

My system is an i7 7700 4.2 GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX 1060, obviously an outdated system, but my PC is in good shape, dedicated exclusively to DCS.

Also say that this problem has appeared after the 2.7 update.

@La Unión Atazar - many folks on these forums will tell you geforce experience will cause problems. i had some issues on a previous computer so i only had the drivers installed. now since i have gotten a new computer i have geforce installed and do occasionally use it without problem. i think on the older hardware with limited resources it could cause performance issues. as a test you should uninstall it and try it. when you are recording it could be going to the other drive which could be a problem. are both of your drives SSD?

also to add, you should start your own thread for the best help.

Thanks for the answer, it's true, I deleted the message because it was off topic and I sent a private message to Flappie. Thanks!
