Recommend a Joystick to go with the collective.

Hi all,

I am planning to order the Collective from VirPil in July :), and was considering pairing it up with a new joystick and base (now got the TM Warthog with F/A-18 Grip) to go with it... But can't decide on which Grip there would be best suited for helicopter operations.

 

So can you come with any recommendations???

The grip doesn't really matter, but a non-centering or FFB base would better for helis. For Russian helis a Russian grip with the brake lever may be a better fit though.

Only you know what is the most important

feature for you. Buttons, hats, ministicks, levers......As Max said, non-centering base might be the best choice, since FFB is hard to find or stupidly expensive. There are few on the market, Komodo,OE-XAM. More gaming consumer orientated is VKB with their dry clutches base.
