tsgucci Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 Could you please have a look at mission 7. The wingman talks to me when we leave the boat, but after that he is not responding to any command. Sometimes it does what I say but does not respond but sometimes it does not do anything. Once it throws all of his 54's but once it returns with all of it on his wing. Some tips for mission 7: Jump to the backseat and set target closure to nose (helpful in all mission). When engaged launch the 54's from the backseat by selecting the rear targets (backfires), hook them and then press FIrst Target and launch. The two 29-s should be dealt with the other flights. The RIO radio (AN-ARC182) is always set on a freq not on Channel 1. At each mission start make Jester to select Ch1 on his radio to be able to talk to your wingman(s). I am not finished with the campaign yet, but enjoying it a lot. It is like watching a TV series. Cannot stop it... 1
Reflected Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 I set him to ‘silent’ otherwise he’d be flooding the radio with generic bandit calls. Don’t worry, he’ll still obey your orders. 2 Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
Lt_Jaeger Posted July 6, 2021 Posted July 6, 2021 Oh, OK, that would explain it, got mad at my wingman for not answering. I got one more problem, I don't know if this is a SC thing. During the alert only one cat is working at a time. It's that wanted or a ED thing again?
Reflected Posted July 6, 2021 Posted July 6, 2021 That’s a hard coded SC thing Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
Lt_Jaeger Posted July 7, 2021 Posted July 7, 2021 (edited) In the moment the mission is very hard to "win". I have a couple of tries already where most, if not all of my Phoenix's are missing. Don't know what's the problem is, since this is exactly the scenario the Tomcat is build for. I know it has nothing to do with your mission, but I don't exactly understand where the problem lies. Reflected Posted July 7, 2021 Posted July 7, 2021 Yeah, there is a bug, has something to do with the target aspect. You have to ask JEster to set it to nose manually, but I'm not sure. I'm sure a fix is coming soon though. Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
Lt_Jaeger Posted July 7, 2021 Posted July 7, 2021 That fix is already there, the Aspect switch is by default in the Nose position.
Whistler_RIO Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 It helps to set radar to LARGE aircraft, which will make it go pitbull sooner. Good to know now about the silent wingman. i thought it was a bug too.
