NeMoGas Posted July 18, 2021 Posted July 18, 2021 If you are playing MP and the unit is spawned in after you spawn in it won't show until you respawn. This might also be the same in SP with dynamically spawned in units, but I don't play much SP so I'm not sure. The hidden on MFD option in the ME last I checked didn't work. Only hidden on map will remove the rings from aircraft, but also makes the unit invisible to players who want to use CA to control them. I posted a bug report last year about this and to my knowledge it hasn't been fixed yet. I would be happy to be wrong though. 1

Whether you can be shot at depends on your altitude, direction and speed. The circle on SA page is just a circle with static radius. Its approximate. You can be in range while being outside circle and be out of range while being in circle. But some circles might need a bit of adjustment by ED. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X GPU: AMD RX 580

But I also wonder after take off without any SAM treats input, if the datalink could add SAM rings on SA page later, intelligence maybe provided from a mission control?
