Yeah, it's not present, it's just one big hole at the moment, as if the gun has been removed.

 

Hopefully HB will add it in, as it's there on every other aircraft.

 

It's even animated on the F-15C, but I don't think it is on the F-16CM or F/A-18C (which only has half of the gun modelled).

What you see when looking down the intakes are the inlet guide vanes, they don't spin. The fan behind the IGV already spins ingame (you have too look closely though)

Yeah, but the rifling in the F15C gun is the wrong twist rate and runs in the wrong direction. I’m appalled.

 

Heatblur won’t model something incorrectly, so they’re waiting for the correct twist and number of lands and grooves in the barrels before committing to a visual representation.

I'd bet those baffles in there would change how it sounds too compared to an F-15 or F-16, or even a Hornet....
