reported Kneeboard Not Working in Syria Map

There is a thread on this here 

but I think Wags mentioned that we should post bugs in this forum, so that's what I'm doing!  Basically, the Kneeboard folder doesn't work in the Syria Map (nor the Marianas one).  That's the E:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\MarianaIslands\Kneeboard folder.

I literally just came here to post about this AGAIN.

 

I've been waiting for this fix ever since the Syria map released. It's insanely annoying (to me, at least). 

 

PLEASE, for the love of all that's holy, FIX THIS ISSUE.

Yep, and I tend to think this is just an oversight as all previous terrains work ok. I’m no programmer, but this would appear to be a fairly simple fix. 
Having said that, it seems like a strange coincidence that Marianas has the same issue.

There isn't a terrain.cfg.lua file, just a terrain.cfg.lua.pak.crypt for me.

Inline with how ED want us to manage liveries and kneeboards for aircraft, I would prefer them to enable custom kneeboards from within the saved games kneeboard directory, but as expected this does not work with any of the maps, not even Caucasus or Nevada. Generally there is a surprising lack of attention to the kneeboard implementation although I am expecting ED has something in the works as I the current kneeboard isn't really properly implemented in VR. Although I use it as it is and it doesn't bother me that much.

That is so likely, I just wanted to try adding that line, just to find this (only unencrypted one is Caucasus):

Meh. It's probably one of those "just takes half a minute and not even a professional to fix this" issues that are just collecting dust in the low-to-no priority section of the project management as it's usual with basically every company on the planet (=not blaming ED or UM here, I have yet to see a company not do this as it's just common to work on low priority non-deal breaking issues last). I might be wrong though... anyways, such a bummer! Often, some of those minor issues fixed can make a massive difference in user experience.
