Game Crashes when trying to join a multiplayer server

Hello,

I have no mods installed and ran the file integrity checker on steam and its still crashing. Other than multiplayer DCS runs normally without any issues.

When I'm joining a server loading bar goes up to net sim post start and after that freezes up and crashes.

Maybe someone can read the log? (I tried but i didn't really knew what to look for)

 

Anybody an idea how i could fix this?

@Brett_Jett - you have 16 GB of RAM on system. also have only 4 GB page file "DCS: CPU cores: 6, threads: 12, System RAM: 16309 MB, Pagefile: 4000 MB" i suggest you look at this.  https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/196924-page-file-tip-by-mustang/?tab=comments#comment-196993 make static pagefile 32 GBs 1024*32=32,768

 

@Aigle2 - if you are indeed having same issue then i would try same trick. otherwise post your zip as @Brett_Jett did.

@Brett_Jett - is it possible you have some overclocking going on? see if you can remove or even lower the settings on the overclocking.

Hi @Brett_Jett. You crash stack mainly deals with shaders.

You should try clearing your shaders cache folders:

  • Saved Games\DCS...\fxo
  • Saved Games\DCS...\metashaders2
  • C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\NV_Cache (select all files, ask for deletion, and hit "Ignore" if Windows bothers you with some files, it's OK).
