Low performance on good PC?

I'm running Vista and it wont let me change edit the lua. file

Any suggestions?

 

Also noticed in the la file it says full screen = false but I do run it full screen (the box is checked)...should that not read = true?

also change haze in that file to 0, lights to 1 and play with shadows 1, i get a whopping 50-60 fps with vsync on!!! it looks awesome and plays like it should

r-unit, all i can see so far is that there is no prop wash/dust

In LockOn you also lost sunglare and some other lighting effects. I didn't test it with BS yet.

i just want to thank the Black Shark community for such great and REALLY fast help..i gotta say- i posted my question- and in 25minutes i accomplished what i had wanted...gotta say- this sim is amazing- best out to date- gonna buy the english version when it comes out as well!

The BEST and safest way to edit LUA is with this program:

 

http://luaedit.luaforge.net/

 

I'd imagine it was used to make LUA's for the game. Works just like notepad but is context sensitive. Lots less chance for mistakes.
