stoop Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Why is there a piece of paracord apparently holding down the console and tied off on both sides? 1
zinhawk Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 It's for stuffing things and not have it fly around the cockpit. 2 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Ryzen 5 3600 (4.1Ghz), 32 GB DDR4, Sapphire R9 390X Nitro, Fatal1ty B450 K4 TrackIR, Warthog Stick and Throttle, CH Pedals
Diesel_Thunder Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Not paracord, it’s bungee cord. Most pilots use it to hold down charts, papers, and similar items out of the way so they don’t end up loose inside the cockpit. 3 PC: MSI X670E, Ryzen 9 7900X, 64GB DDR5 RAM, RTX 3090 Ti, TM Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Pro Flight pedals, Opentrack Link to my Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/DieselThunderAviation Commander, 62nd Virtual Fighter Squadron Join the 62nd VFS today! BuzzU Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 We have new and worn guys choosing the cockpit. I'm in the new group. If I was a real Hog pilot and they gave me a new plane. I wouldn't complain. So, i'll need to find my own bungee cord.. Buzz
ASAP Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 They actually use a saddle bag that's made to lay over the top of the glare shield that holds all that stuff for them now anyway. you can see it in the picture above. The bungee cord is obsolete.
