Slayer Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 (edited) The first few times I tried to do a cold start as much as I try I couldnt click on the engine throttle levers, the only way I could actuate them was with pgup pgdn. Not sure what I'm doing wrong? I had the producer notes video running in paralel so I could learn the startup procedure faster...I can't tell for sure but isn't he clicking the throttles? Is this a bug or intended behaviour or is it just not coded to be clickable? They do move up and down when you push the button so they are animated Edited November 22, 2008 by Slayer spelling [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] System Specs Intel I7-3930K, Asrock EXTREME9, EVGA TITAN, Mushkin Chronos SSD, 16GB G.SKILL Ripjaws Z series 2133, TM Warthog and MFD's, Saitek Proflight Combat pedals, TrackIR 5 + TrackClip PRO, Windows 7 x64, 3-Asus VS2248H-P monitors, Thermaltake Level 10 GT, Obutto cockpit
EvilBivol-1 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 The throttles are not clickable. Keyboard or controller axes only. Adding to the User FAQ... - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer. The Parable of Jane's A-10 Forum Rules

Killjoy12 Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Are there any plans to make the throttles clickable in the patch?
sobek Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Are there any plans to make the throttles clickable in the patch? Not AFAIK, ED have consequently not made moving parts in the cockpit clickable, so, for example, all buttons on the collective are not. For what reason this was done, i don't know. Good, fast, cheap. CooperHawkes Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 erm... gear switch, rotorbrake, valve cut off leverls? or is it because the throttle control switches are "multiple instance" thingies? take me out to the black, tell 'em i ain't coming back, i don't care, i'm still free, you can't take the sky from me. ...still waiting for the day when the military recruits their dronepilots out of a group of flightsimgamers...
sobek Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 (edited) erm... gear switch, rotorbrake, valve cut off leverls? or is it because the throttle control switches are "multiple instance" thingies? Those are practically big switches, not moving parts.;) Another way to see it is that everything that can be assigned as an axis is not clickable, or every switch that sits on such a part. The condition levers fall under both points. They sit on the collective and they can be assigned as an axis. Edited June 25, 2009 by sobek Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa!
