I agree with Henrique Piocoppi!

We had Boeing Seaknight in Sweden too. It was called Hkp4 (helikopter 4) and was used both in the Swedish Navy and Airforce.

It would be nice with a Boeing Seaknight!

Hi all, no updates so far. I did not put more efforts into it because of time it takes and since there are now more advanced Seahawk variants out, even flyable.

Any chance you can investigate why the Rotors are turning Backwards?

Hi friends,

Absolutly love this HH-60 ai mod, but maybe a silly question...

But is there any way to get the rotorblades folded  for a AI and/or flyable helo mod when it has landed ? Not nessaraly for the tail, but atleast the rotor blades ?

Maybe a addon to the script file ?

Thank you, glad you like the mod. Scripted folding needs the model to be changed quite a bit, currently no chance - sorry. However there is the static folded part of the mod. you could maybe make mission and mission-script disappearance of the landed heli and spawn of the folded static instead? Not sure if that is possible, never did mission scripting.

Thank you sir...I like using this for the Rescue Helo because its a simple yet good looking mod that doesn't eat up resources. I especially like having a swimmer in the door...

I checked here with 2.9 and all seems fine. Both rotors turn ccw when looking top down on main rotor and facing the right side of the model. As far as I know this is also the IRL direction. In Modelviewer same thing, both turn ccw with increasing arg 40.

That hilarious! Mine is exactly wrong...Clockwise when viewed from the top! I'm gonna remove it and reinstall...LOL

There is indeed a wrong direction in the version 0.3 and before, I apologize. There was a mismatch between the published and my local version. See first post for a quick fix.

As another side note...Is it possible to to get additional static versions?

One with the Navy Assets loaded and ready for flight...

Game seems to be crashing due to this MOD. Not sure why but if you F2 to the helo the game freezes. Does not freeze with other Helos.

I had the same issue guys. Finally i found out there has been a temp fix update on the discord site, then it worked again for me.

I've attached a small mission for you to test with. The game locks up every time just by Alt/Tabbing through units to the HH-60. I have been using this MOD with Persian Gulf, Syria, Siani, Caucasus, and Marianas. In each case removing the HH-60 eliminates the crashes when tabbing through assets. And please understand...I am NOT complaining. This is a great mod. I'm just trying to help get it fixed.

I also attached the dcs.log file dcs.log-20240819-201737.zip

Let me know if you need anything else to troubleshoot / diagnose.

This mod is great, especially the static version with folded rotorblades/tail. Too bad it causes CTDs and freezes in the current DCS version. I know there are other Seahawk mods out there but they are flyable mods and thus not really suitable to populate carrier decks. This mod is also the only one which has the rotor blade supports modelled. I hope the author can get back to it someday to fix the CTD issues so we can use it again.
