DimSim
Just trialing the Spitfire and setting up input bindings. Many of the names are classic or identifiable, but quite a number look like Input.SpitfireLFMkIX.trim_elevator_minus Input.SpitfireLFMkIX.uc rather than the expected Trim Elevator Up and Landing Gear Up/Down or similar Is this normal, or is there something wrong with the installation? Art-J
"Normal" for version 2.7.8. It's a bug affecting all prop planes except Yak-52 and Mustang (I think?). Allegedly will be fixed in next update, so If you can, just wait for it. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10. Davee
Naming conventions in all the aircraft in DCS are very problematic. They need to do a wholesale change in all areas to conform to standard military naming conventions. For example: Cap/Field/Men's Not: Men's field cap. or . . . Field cap Men's Noun first followed by adjectives to describe it. ie., What kind of Cap? The main article is a Cap. The main article is not Field and it is not Men's This puts the article in a proper nomative and alphabetical listing with descriptive adjectives that is easier to locate in a list.
