Darkdiz
In the several guides I have seen, including Chuck's Guide and the ED A-10C II Manual, there is a control listed for "Capture Image" under Left Throttle Button - Long. Is this still a thing? If so, how does it work? I press it, nothing happens. Does it take a screenshot? If so, where does it get stored? What exactly does it do? Sacarino111
Hi. Screenshots are stored at "C:\Users\XXXXX\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\ScreenShots". Can't tell if this feature is available or not, but the simplest idea to me is : Take a pictures with that button long press, open "paint" and press "LCTRL + V", so you paste the image. Saludos. LeCuvier
I've just tried, and pressing that button long or short does not produce a screenshot. To my surprise, this button actually duplicates the "Autopilot ENGAGE/Disengage" button. Screen shots are requested with the "SysRQ" button (on my German keyboard it's marked "Druck". ASAP
In the real jet that's used to take a screen shot of what your TGP is seeing, or your TAD (I think). You can access them in the MSG page and send them over the data link.
Darkdiz
I think the response above is the right one, as IMHO the screenshot is a game-ting, and the Capture Image button is something completely different. I'll have a look at the MSG page next time I'm in my hawg and see if its a thing or not (hopefully it is!) From the earliest A-10C. This is because they are physically the same button, "LAAP Engage" . Which when long pressed performs the function "Capture Image" but as the feature is not implemented in the module it doesn't matter how long you press for the sim just registers it as LAAP Engage/Disengage command. Some more discussion here about the feature but mainly just arguments. Edited February 7, 2022 by Taco-Taylor
