For now, it isn't. Judging by the 8 different pushbuttons on the ECM panel it soon will, though.

At the moment the pods both perform the same, this may change in the future.

Besides AN/ALQ-184 short and long versions, we also got AN/ALQ-131. Would be really awesome to have some differences between them. I think it won't be too hard to make them different a bit. Here I found some good read-out, which could help making ECM pods different to each other if nothing else - and it would be a start to make them different eventually. 

 

And I'm positive we can find some more info about all three pods, which would help make/act them more real.

Sadly per Wags there are no plans for the long pod to be any different from the short pod other then looking longer and having more weight, so a less useful short pod.
