Harms will not fire after selective jettison of center tank

This problem also occurs after landing and re-arming. Basically after either the evolution in the title or after landing and re-arming the HARMS are rendered inert. I have done the following checks:

  1. Made sure the dogfight switch was centered
  2. Switched between NAV and AG Master Modes several times
  3. Toggled Master Arm on and off and back on
  4. HTS is SOI
  5. In range with a good signal, level 2

The HTS will lock up the offending SAM site just fine, It turns red and it looks like I can shoot it but it doesn't work. This ONLY happens under the following conditions:

  • I have landed and re-armed/re-fueled and did NOT move until I got the re-armed complete notification
  • I have used SJ to jettison my center tank, I assume it would happen if I jettisoned anything but I am not 100% sure

Check the power switch for the AGM-88,    sometimes after rearming the power switch is defaulted to off position.

I will check that right now! I thought I saw it was on but that actually could be it! I will update after I test. Thanks!

That was it! That still sounds like a bug though right? Selecting SJ mode should not power off the Harms?

S-J shouldn't but inventory change could possibly. We don't really have a fully detailed SMS like the A-10C. The SMS just magically knows what's in inventory without having to enter the information, similar to F/A-18C. You should treat all rearming as everything stripped off the airplane and then put back on as far as avionics are concerned which would mean a power interruption.

To be fair, in the Hornet the MC knows what stores are on the jet through a programming panel on the outside of the jet that the crew sets up as they load ordnance, so the way DCS works is at least a bit realistic in that case. I'm not actually sure how the F-16 does it, is it through the DTC like the Hog?
