Rob Mason Posted Tuesday at 08:45 AM Posted Tuesday at 08:45 AM Excellent new ver 2.0 looking forward to flying this amazing chopper. One question, how would I install it using Modern Mod Manager and not use the included installer.exe.

Because not a single day goes by when I don't get messaged on Discord by someone who can't read basic instructions and they fail to install it properly. It's really annoying and the installer ensures it is put in the correct location. It also places the script for the door gunners in the correct location too. Lastly, it checks and shows you the update changelog so you can just run the installer and know if there is a new version and update. And I can just keep uploading regular small fixes when I can, without having to publish and announce lots of new versions. I think it is much simpler for everyone involved. I know it maybe conflicts with people who use mod managers, but I think on the whole that is a minority of players and the benefits are worth it. 9 2

In general, dedicated installers are a great improvement for accessibility and uptake whilst reducing dev support workload. Good call! 1 Nah, I've only just met 'er...:pilotfly:
MAXsenna Posted Tuesday at 01:43 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:43 PM LOL! Run the installer. Move the files from Saved Games. Pack tbem in your favourite mod manager. Bam, you're done! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk 2

YoYo Posted Tuesday at 06:52 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:52 PM I finally got around to flying it and having some fun. Thanks for another great upgrade (after all this time!). It's really nice to return to the UH-60L after all this time and see such cool changes. The crew (though quite mysterious ;)) looks really good now (at least Kiowa level), and is also visible in VR. It's also visible externally. Also, the rotor animation is finally very good, along with the blur effect, but I actually like this effect and it's great that it was improved. As for the interior, I only feel (and this is more noticeable in VR) that the Collective grip itself is too large. I have a copy of the Virpil, and the head itself isn't as large as the model's in relation to the hand. I feel the scale here is too large. Generally, the grip head protrudes only slightly beyond the palm and fingers when held. And if it would be possible to slightly improve the modeling of the door from the inside and a better texture here: But it's still great work! I also really like the new interior window effect; it gives a better perspective and you can see the reflections, which shows that we have something there (and with some mods I always get the impression that there are frames without windows). Congratulations! I'm looking forward to playing with the UH-60L more, although I'm waiting for the MiG-29A. 4 Webmaster of http://www.yoyosims.pl Win 10 64, i9-13900 KF, RTX 5090 32Gb OC, RAM 64Gb Corsair Vengeance LED OC@3600MHz,, 3xSSD+3xSSD M.2 NVMe, Predator XB271HU res.2560x1440 27'' G-sync, Sound Blaster Z + 5.1, TiR5, [MSFS, P3Dv5, DCS, RoF, Condor2, IL-2 CoD/BoX] VR fly only: Meta Quest Pro

Tomcatter87 Posted Wednesday at 08:12 AM Posted Wednesday at 08:12 AM Love the update so far - not having flown the old version too often, but I really enjoy V 2.0! One thing I noticed is that the mod is really heavy on fps - I get a worse framerate than in the AH-64. "Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward. swartbyron Posted Wednesday at 09:33 AM Posted Wednesday at 09:33 AM (edited) I’m the same, I didn’t really bond with the first version but absolutely love 2.0. Its amazing how much immersion the reworked flight model along with the pilot and gunner models bring. Edited Wednesday at 09:35 AM by swartbyron

Devil 505 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago @Kinkkujuustovoileipä This is a 3-year-old video I shot doing some AAR in your mod. Is Version 2 still capable of AAR? I have not tried it yet but I remember needing a special C-130 mod I believe. 1
