I realised just after I posted that windows update was not working either, yet the internet connection appeared to be fine. Ran sfc and chkdsk with no change, windows update troubleshooter was as useless as usual. Router reboot seem to have kicked it all back again. I would be interested to know what happened there..

Removed mods, Did Clean & repair, even re-installed all to no avail. Help anyone! checked log folder and its empty????? Tried running several times after checking Log Folder and still makes it to Authorization but stops there. Everything was working well before Update. I tried restarting the router. restarted the pc aswell. but still nada. and yes. my internet is working fine.. Here is the log after running cleanup and reapir. i have censored the the numbers in my log as i dont know if its a good thing to share thouse number. im a noob so idk I dont have mods or use any 3rd party tools with dcs. its basically a clean install of dcs. after i have ran the updater and it closes. i am just greeted with the login dialog window. Router reboot did work so I'm puzzled what happened. Seemed like starting the update upset some settings on my PC. Maybe just a co-incidence... I got to accept the update, then failure. Have you tried sfc /scannow at cmd. That can help sort out issues.
